Joint Labour Movement Praises Osun Governor For Paying Salary Arrears

The Joint Labour Movement , Osun state, has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his kind gesture in approving welfare packages for active workers and retirees in the state.
The labour leaders, who noted that this was ‘in response to our various interface with the government’, added that the governor had done this via a circular letter dated 31st January, 2022, Ref No.SMD.408/7.
In a statement jointly signed by Com. Jacob Adekomi (State Chairman NLC), Com. Adekola Adebowale (State Chairman TUC) and Com. Lasun Akindele (State Chairman JNC) which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com, the labour leaders described the governor’s gesture of goodwill as unprecedented.
‘The payment of salary arrears, contributory pensions, half -salary arrears, cash backing of promotion exercises and most importantly outstanding deductions will boost the morale of active public servants and renew the hope of retired officers.
