Abba Kabir Yusuf Sends Inauguration Invitation To Lamido Sanusi
Kano state governor-elect, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sent inauguration invitation to former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mallam Muhammad Sanusi.
Yusuf will take oath of office on Monday, May 29, 2023.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the invitation letter was dated May 26,, 2023 ,while noting that the event will be held at the Sani Abacha Stadium , Kofa Mata, at 9.00am.
‘ As you are aware that the 2023 election into the office of the governor was conducted in Kano state on 18th March 2023, to which by the Grace of Almighty Allah SWT, I emerged as winner and subsequently got issued with certificate of return by INEC.
It is therefore my great pleasure to invite you to my swearing- in ceremony along with my Deputy , Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo.

It will be recalled that a prominent politician in the country, who had recently regained his position as political godfather in Kano state, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, had made a disclosure that had definitely unsettled the outgoing governor of Kano state, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje and others last month.
Kwankwaso, a former senator, a one-time Defence minister, and a former governor of Kano state, had disclosed that the incoming administration in the state will review the decision to remove Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi as Emir of Kano.
Sanusi was appointed as Emir of Kano by the Kwankwaso administration.
Governor Ganduje had in his eight years as governor did a lot of things that had influenced the course of history especially when it comes to chieftaincy matters.
It will be recalled that in 2019, the House of Assembly approved the creation of four additional emirate councils, bringing the number of First Class Emirs in the state to five.
The new councils are Gaya; Karaye, Rano, Bichi and the old Kano Emirate Council.
Apart from creating new emirate councils, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi was also removed as Emir of Kano in March 2020 .
