Aderemi Sanni, Dupe Adeleke’s Husband, Dies In Ede… Gov Adeleke, Senator Oyewumi, Olawale Rasheed Offer Condolences

Chief (Mrs) Dupe Adeleke-Sanni’ s  husband, Alhaji Aderemi Sanni,  is dead 

Alhaji Sanni died in Ede on Sunday at the age of 74, and he had since been buried in. Ibadan , Oyo state capital.

The news of his death had since produced an outpouring of grief and condolences.

Governor Ademola  Adeleke, who is Chief Dupe Adeleke’s younger brother,   has described the news of  Alhaji Sanni’s death as devastating.

In a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Barrister Kolapo Alimi, Adeleke commiserated with his sister, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke – Sanni and the entire Sanni family over the loss of ‘a dear , nice, kind and easy-going father figure’. 

‘Governor Ademola Adeleke recalled with nostalgia, the many contributions of the 74 years old Alhaji Sanni, particularly his exemplary lifestyle as a good father, and grandfather, who did a lot for the growth and development of Islam and humanity in general.

Governor Adeleke also acknowledged and appreciated the many contributions of the late Baba Sanni to him personally, especially during the struggle to become the Executive Governor of Osun state’ the statement said.

He prayed Allah to grant Alhaji Sanni Aljannah Firdaus while urging the family he left behind to take solace in the fact that he lived a good life.

 Osun state PDP  has  also condoled with Mrs Adeleke – Sanni over the passing  of her husband, Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, describing the news of his death as extremely sad and shocking.

Osun state PDP Chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi expressed shock and disbelief over the loss of Alhaji Aderemi Sanni, saying, the late business mogul was too good to depart the planet earth at this time.

Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Spokesperson ,  Mallam Olawale Rasheed also noted in a statement made available to  Team@orientactualmags.com that he was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, who was not just a kindhearted and cheerful personality, but also a reflection of the abundant opportunities that lie with a remarkable individual cognizant of the dreams he had shaped to reality and the hopes he had restored for the hopeless.

‘His sudden demise is devastating and painful, filling not just the heart of family and loves with deep sorrow, but anyone who knew him while he was alive. I recalled our last engagement  a few days ago, benefiting from him as usual, the value of his wise counsels and word of encouragement.

My heartfelt condolences to  a mother figure, Yeyeluwa Modupeola Sanni-Adeleke over this touching and irreparable loss and everyone touched by the demise of Alhaji Sanni.

 It is my sincere hope that his legacy of compassion and generosity will continue to inspire all those who had privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of strength to a mother figure,  Yeyeluwa Modupeola Sanni-Adeleke, children and all loved ones as they navigate through this period of grief.

May Allah subhanawatahallah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him an abode in Aljanah fridaus while giving those he  left behind the fortitude to bear the excruciating pain of the loss of Alhaji Sanni.  Amin’ he said.

Deputy Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi PhD , has also offered his condolences.

‘It is with a heavy heart that  the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator (Akogun) Lere Oyewumi, a respected politician and statesman, joins Yeyeluwa Dúpẹ́ Adeleke-Sanni in mourning the untimely demise of her beloved husband. The passing of someone who is dear to one is indeed a moment of great sorrow and loss, and Senator Lere Oyewumi extends his deepest condolences to the grieving family during this difficult time’ his media office submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com while adding that  ‘In times of grief, the support of friends, family, and well-wishers is invaluable. Senator Lere Oyewumi acknowledges the pain that Yeyeluwa Dúpẹ́ Adeleke-Sanni and her family are going through, and he shares their sorrow. It is a time to reflect upon and honor the life and achievements of the departed, and to offer comfort and solace to those he has left behind.

The late husband of Yeyeluwa Dúpẹ́ Adeleke-Sanni leaves behind a legacy that deserves recognition and admiration’.

 Senator Lere Oyewumi PhD , the statement added, also noted that the grieving process can be challenging and emotionally draining. 

‘In this difficult time, he offers his support and empathy to Yeyeluwa Dúpẹ́ Adeleke-Sanni and her family. The bereaved must know that they are not alone and that there are people who care about their well-being. Allowing them the space and time to mourn is essential, and lending a helping hand when needed can make a significant difference.
