Afrobeat Musician, Seun Kuti, Now In Police Custody
Afrobeat Musician, Seun Kuti ,who had in a viral video hit and slapped a police officer many times on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, and had the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba directing the Lagos state police command to ensure that he gets arrested without delay, has turned himself in to the police.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Seun Kuti, who is the son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, had since remained in police custody.
Spokesman for the Lagos state Police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, tweeted about this development on Monday.
‘Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, in the early hours of today turned himself in at the Lagos state Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, in company of his lawyer and family representative.
He has been placed under arrest in line with the law.
