Agbarere Mustapha, Akintola Adewale, 70 Others Shortlisted For Appointment As SANs

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), has released the names of 72 lawyers who have been shortlisted for appointment as Senior Advocates of Nigeria this year.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that this was disclosed in a public notice signed by the LPPC Secretary and Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Mr Kabir Akanbi on Tuesday.

57 advocate applicants and 15 academics have been shortlisted for appointment as Senior Advocates of Nigeria in line with the committee’s guidelines.

The LPPC has consequntly called on members of the public to make comments available in respect of the integrity, competence, and reputation of the shortlisted applicants.

 ‘Every complaint must be accompanied with a verifying affidavit deposed to by the author before a superior court of record in Nigeria or before a Notary Public and must be in twenty (20) copies, which must be received’  Mr Kabir Akanbi submitted while noting that being shortlisted does not guarantee appointment as conferment as Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
