AGN Accuses Actress Halimah Abubakar Of Giving False Information To Bloggers, Suspends Her Indefinitely

A popular actress, Halima Abubakar has been suspended indefinitely by The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for allegedly giving bloggers false information about fellow actors and high-profile individuals.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the AGN in a statement issued on Friday noted that this decision followed investigation carried out in respect of her involvement in spreading unfounded rumours, particularly about extramarital affairs between actors and notable Nigerians.

The AGN has also disclosed that other female members are under investigation especially with respect to rumors that have to do with the Senate President, Barrister Godswill Akpabio.

Recall that an Abuja High Court had fined Halimah N10 million for defaming Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries International seven months ago.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the AGN accused Halimah of spreading false information, including allegations of extramarital affairs involving highly placed individuals.

‘Following the thorough investigative report by the Special Secret Investigation Panel, it was discovered that Miss Halima Abubakar was behind the defamatory information in circulation since 2022. As a result, she has been placed on indefinite suspension and will face the National Disciplinary Committee to determine further action’ the statement said.
