Akwa Ibom Governor Sacks Special Duties Commissioner
Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state, has sacked the state Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr Bassey Okon.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that this was announced in a statement issued in Uyo, the state capital, by Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Enobong Uwah on Monday.
While appreciating Dr Bassey Okon for the period that he served as commissioner , the governor also wished him well in his future endeavours
He ordered the former commissioner to hand over all government property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties and directed the Secretary to the State Government to oversee the affairs of the ministry pending the appointment of a new commissioner.
