The Police on Wednesday quizzed Dr Ahmed Adamu Saba in respect of an investigation into the allegations of certificate forgery that had been leveled against him.
Saba is the Edu/Moro/Patigi APC House of Representatives candidate.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned he though only presented his WASSCE certificate to the electoral umpire; the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and did not claim to have gone beyond that level, a petition was however made available to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja accusing him of forgery.
It was alleged interalia in the petition that he attended the Ahmadu Bello University ,Zaria but allegedly failed a major course ; Econs 401 and that rather than registering for the course to retake the examination, he was said to have found his way around what wanted to stand as an obstacle and allegedly left to participate in the NYSC programme.
Those who wanted him dealt with had reportedly made an enquiry at the NYSC headquarters , Abuja where it was allegedly confirmed that Saba had participated in the mandatory one -year programme.

The petitioner had sought to have him questioned on how he was able to participate in the NYSC programme and the documents he had made available to the NYSC that made him get qualified to become a corps member.
Police officers attached to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID had reportedly arrived in Ilorin on Monday and having been tipped off that he was about to get arrested, Saba avoided being embarrassed ‘at home’ and he had made himself unavailable and unreachable. That was not all, he had also hurriedly left Ilorin for Abuja on Tuesday.
The team from Abuja also apparently had their ear to the ground and having confirmed that he had left Ilorin for Abuja ,those at the Federal capital territory traced him to the hotel where he was and they took him to the force headquarters.
Saba , who got there at about 9am, was not allowed to leave until evening.
Sources told Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday that Saba’s current predicament was the ‘political fallout’ from the Moro/Edu/Patigi APC House of Representatives primary election held in May, this year.
Hon Ahmed Ndakene, who currently represents the federal constituency, had shown interest in retaining his parliament seat and he had sought party nomination but lost this to Saba, who is his childhood friend.
Things had since fallen apart in the relationship between them.
Ndakene, we gathered, had shown determination to either make Saba voluntarily release the party nomination or get forced to do so.
It was gathered that Saba had known that it was his former co-aspirant that wanted to have him by the balls and before hurriedly leaving Ilorin he had sent a message to his estranged friend on Whatsapp that he had been informed that the security agents that would arrest him had left Abuja for the Kwara state capital.
He had leapt to conclusions that it was a case of ‘the hand of Esau but the voice of Jacob’ .
Ndakene and Saba apart from being kinsmen and childhood friends also both attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria- Team@orientactualmags.com
