Alleged Fraud: EFCC Says Kano Central APC Senate Candidate’s Whereabouts Unknown
Kano Central APC senate candidate, Alhaji Abdusalam Zaura, also known as AA Zaura, was conspicuous by his absence in Court on Monday.
He is standing trial for alleged $1.30m fraud at the Federal High Court, Kano.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC had notified the court that the whereabouts of AA Zaura, who had previously been granted administrative bail by the commission, was unknown.
The EFCC had taken AA Zaura to court accusing him of criminal conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of $1.3m .
The prosecution counsel, Mrs. Aisha Habib, told the court on Monday that the defendant could not be produced for arraignment.
