Anambra Guber Election: APC To Hold Primary Election April 5, Asks Aspirants To Pay N50m
Ahead of the 2025 Anambra State governorship election, APC has asked party members seeking to participate in its upcoming primary election to pay N50 million for the nomination and expression of interest forms.
The party has also released primary election timetable.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Suleiman Argungu, who announced this on Monday, however noted that female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities will pay N10 million for the expression of interest form and get the nomination form free.
Young politicians between the ages of 25 and 40 will pay for the expression of interest form but get a 50 per cent discount on nomination form
The prospective aspirants are required to visit the APC national secretariat in Wuse II , Abuja between February 10 and February 25 to purchase and pick up their forms.
‘In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act, the All Progressives Congress hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 8th November 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra state, as released by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The sales of nomination and expression of interest and delegate forms begin from February 10 to 25, while the last day for submission of forms is February 26. There will be a screening of aspirants from March 7 to 8, while publication of screening results starts from March 10.
Delegates Congress will hold on April 2, Primary Election April 5, Ratification of governorship election results by Congress April 6, Submission of list of nominated candidates to the NWC April 8.
