APC About To Take Control Of Entire Niger Delta States As Bayelsa Gov’s Aide Says His Boss Has Left PDP
Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has said ‘To your tents, O Israel’ to the PDP and if he eventually chooses APC as his new party, it would mean that the ruling party has almost taken control of the entire Niger Delta states.
The nine states in the Niger Delta region are Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers.
The region was a ‘traditional’ PDP stronghold until the ‘dispersal’ began.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Governor Diri’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Daniel Alabrah disclosed his boss’ decision to end his membership of PDP in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Alabrah added that Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Abraham Ingobere, and all the PDP lawmakers have also left the party.
Naturally, members of the State Executive Council are expected to follow suit.
