APC National Secretary Deliberately Blind To Gov Adeleke’s Accomplishments-Spokesperson

APC National Secretary, Barrister Ajibola Bashiru has deliberately overlooked key achievements and accomplishments of the current administration in the State of the Living Spring and this is symptomatic of ‘Adelekephobia’ , Governor Ademola Adeleke’s spokesperson, Mr. Olawale Rasheed, has submitted.

.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday noted that the governor’s spokesperson said this while reacting to the criticisms made by Barrister Ajibola Bashiru, a former senator, during a recent interview with the TVC.

‘Adelekephobia is ravaging the opposition camp so deeply that when they see white, they call it black. It makes patients incapable of telling the truth even when their nuclear families point it out to them’ Mr Rasheed submitted while highlighting Osun State’s recent placement as seventh among Nigeria’s 36 states in national examination rankings.

The state, he added, had previously been ranked 33rd under the administration in which Bashiru served.

‘Because of Adelekephobia, Mr Bashiru must still condemn Governor Adeleke’s records on education’ Mr Rasheed said, underscoring the contrast between past and present performance metrics.

He also made reference to Osun’s recent recognition as the best-performing state in primary health access in the South West, earning a $500,000 prize, which Bashiru has according to him failed to acknowledge.

‘Under a government where he served, Osun was ranked 28th in primary health care access’ Mr Rasheed said, pointing to what he described as a failure of the previous administration in comparison.

The spokesperson also referred to commendation from the federal Debt Management Office, DMO, which credited the current administration with a 40 percent reduction in inherited state debt without taking new loans.

‘Mr Bashiru cannot acknowledge such a high level of financial engineering and discipline… unlike the financial recklessness under a government in which he was then a leading figure’ he said.

Governor Adeleke has also according to him constructed and inaugurated the road leading to Bashiru’s residence in Osogbo which had been previously neglected.

‘Imagine the audacity of an Adeleke who tarred the road leading to Bashiru’s house, thereby shaming a big man in the previous government who rode daily on roads filled with potholes’ he said.

According to Rasheed, Osogbo – Bashiru’s hometown – has seen major infrastructure developments in the last two years, including the construction of the Okefia flyover.

‘When the secretary will drive on the Okefia flyover, he will still deny the existence of the bridge because of Adelekephobia’ he added while also commenting on infighting among APC members and insinuating that Bashiru has been sidelined by the ‘Amunbo’ faction of the party and the ‘disease has no cure’.

‘The more the disease spreads within the APC, the more Osun people accept the Adeleke administration’ Rasheed asserted.

He concluded the statement by expressing confidence that the electorate recognises the current administration’s accomplishments across various sectors.

‘Our people are not blind to good governance, to welfare of workers, to making life better for pensioners, to infra revolution, to the new five-star stadium coming up in Osogbo’ he said.

Rasheed also referenced improvements in agricultural services, university operations, and access to healthcare, describing them as key areas of progress under Governor Adeleke-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
