APC Remains Kebbi People’s Choice- Gov Nasir Idris

Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu has submitted and asserted that the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, remains the dominant and most popular party in the state.
Governor Nasir’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement he made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday that the Kauran Gwandu said this during his ‘Thank -You Visit’ to Warrah, headquarters of Ngaski Local Government, on Friday.
He expressed appreciation to the people for their overwhelming support in the 2023 elections which led to his victory under the APC.


Addressing a large gathering of people, the governor advised them to continue to promote the ideals and ideology of the APC of good governance and economic prosperity.
‘Consolidate on your membership of the APC, make it your permanent abode of political succour.
My administration is rooted in the delivery of dividends of democracy.
We are here today to thank you for electing us and to assure you that more development is on the way’ he said.
Chairman of APC in Ngaski LGA, Hon. Usman Na Allah Warrah, commended the governor for prioritizing rural development and in demonstration of growing support for the party, prominent political figures in the area, including former Chairman of Ngaski LG, Alhaji Hassan Wara and Atiku Alaramma, led their supporters in defecting from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to APC.
They attributed their decision to leave PDP for APC to Governor Idris’ commitment to socio-economic growth and inclusive governance.
‘’PDP no longer exists in Ngaski, it is dead. Your Excellency, you won’t need to campaign in 2027, it’s already a clear victory’ Alaramma declared.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, officially welcomed the defectors, assuring them of equal opportunity in the party.
In separate remarks, Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, commended Governor Idris and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for entrenching rapid development, peace, and unity in Kebbi State and Nigeria as a whole.
Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, donated 17 motorcycles and a vehicle to the APC executives in Ngaski LGA during the event.
In a similar gesture, the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, presented a souvenir to Governor Idris in recognition of his dedication to the welfare of teachers.
