APC To Osun Citizens: Come Out In Large Numbers To Vote For Our Candidates

Osun state citizens  have been urged to be optimistic and attach importance to the presidential and national assembly elections scheduled to hold tomorrow while emphasizing the need for them to come out in large numbers   to vote for all APC candidates  for the betterment of all and sundry in the country especially in the  State of the Living Spring.

State APC Acting Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal said this in a statement issued  in Osogbo by  the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by its Director General, Kunle Oyatomi .

The party opined that it is important for all eligible voters in the state to come out in  large numbers to exercise their civic responsibility and vote massively for the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as well as all APC Senate and House of Representatives candidates.

‘We need to understand that we have to take our destinies into our hands and the journey of the next four years will be taken and concluded on Saturday. We appeal to all eligible voters in Osun and in Nigeria to massively vote for the most experienced national leader, a distinguished Senator that had piloted the affairs of Lagos state for eight years with unprecedented developmental projects.

It will not sound well to vote for the APC presidential candidate alone, as there’s a need to massively vote for all Senate and House of Representatives candidates to make it easier for Mr President to implement all his people- oriented policies and programmes’ he said.

‘At this juncture, Nigeria needs a capable leader that will make the system works for all and sundry, including young people who are the leaders of tomorrow’ the statement added.

Lawal  urged all eligible voters to massively vote for Tinubu and the National Assembly candidates, to improve the security apparatus and make the nation prosperous once again.

‘If elected as president, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government would, as a matter of urgency, provide job opportunities for the teeming unemployed young people and address other challenges facing educational and petroleum sectors,

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the most competent, qualified, experienced and he is a first class Nationalist and patriotic leader who will take a united Nigeria to the Promised Land.

It is imperative for all APC members, supporters and sympathizers as well as all the people of other ethnic groups, irrespective of their political affiliations, to come out on Saturday to secure and implant good governance and a comfortable working majority for the party at the National Assembly to protect development and progress of the nation’ the statement added.

In separate statement, the state APC has also condemned the idea of giving Wakeel Nurudeen a.k.a. ‘Alowonle’, who the party has alleged to be an appointee and surrogate of  Governor Ademola Adeleke,  the mandate to handle the  transportation of  staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)  on  the Election Day.  .

Alowonle was according to the APC recently appointed as Park Manager by the governor.

‘It is by taking away the contract for the transportation  of the INEC staff from Alowonle, an  Adeleke appointee , that our party and the discerning minds in the society would believe that the INEC is not trying to play a funny game aimed at favouring the PDP in the elections.

Our demand on the issue in question is clear: We don’t want Adeleke’s man, Alowonle, or anyone who has a relationship with the governor, to be put in charge of the transportation of the INEC staff on the Election Day. .

If not for any ulterior motive, why would Governor Adeleke insist that his appointee should be the contractor that will handle transportation of the INEC staff  during the elections?

In the interest of our state and sanctity of the election, I am happy to inform the INEC that the NURTW members which association Adeleke said he has dissolved are still very much around and they would be willing to do the job without any let or hindrance’

the  state APC Acting Chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal submitted in a statement issued in Osogbo  by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi- Team@orientactualmags.com
