Atiku Attends Campaign Rally In Lokoja,  Promises To Prioritize Ajaokuta Steel Company,  Create Jobs For Young Nigerians

PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has assured Kogi state  people and other Nigerians  that he will address all matters that have to do with the Ajaokuta Steel Company  if elected as president next month.

 Addressing  a huge crowd of party members and supporters during the  Presidential Campaign rally held   at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium , Lokoja  on Saturday, the former vice president also assured the teeming young Nigerians of  creating job opportunities , promising that his government  will provide an  enabling environment for them to engage in businesses of their choice.

On Lokoja river port ,Atiku  said he will complete the project noting that this will  enable people in the northern states to participate actively in maritime activities.

He added that the project is not important to only Kogi State but all the northern states, adding that when completed , it will enhance maritime activities in the country.

He urged the electorate  to vote for the PDP  in the  upcoming presidential election  ,submitting  that the APC administration in the last 8 years had resulted in underdevelopment and economic stagnation.

 PDP Vice  presidential candidate,  Governor  Ifeanyi Okowa ,who spoke earlier, had  pledged that the PDP administration at the national level will tackle insecurity, adding that kogites will  be made to sleep with their  two eyes closed.

PDP National  Chairman, former Senator Iyorchia Ayu  urged Nigerians to vote for the party ,promising  that life will be better under Alhaji Atiku Abubarka  and  Nigeria will be great again.

Team@orientactualmags.com  learned  former Senator Dino Melaye also announced  at the campaign rally that 147,000 registered members of the  APC  had since left the party for PDP  in the state.

The defectors , he noted, include   former Deputy Governor , Mr Simon Achuba, the immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly , Umar Alfa Imam and a prominent politician in Kogi Central , Yahaya Abubarka Karaku .
