Banditry: Razaq Owolabi Pays Sympathy Visit To Oke-Ode, Commends Residents For Keeping Town Alive

A member of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Razaq Olatunde Owolabi on Wednesday paid a sympathy visit to Oke-Oke, Ifelodun local government while specially commending residents for keeping the ancient town alive.

Recall that bandits had on Sunday attacked Ogbayo, Oke-Ode and this had claimed the lives of 10 vigilantes and a village head.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Hon Razaq Olatunde Owolabi, who represents Share/Oke-Ode state constituency, also praised the security personnel for their dedication to safeguarding lives and property of the people of the town and other parts of his constituency.

‘Amidst the insecurity challenges confronting our dear Oke-Ode community, I visited the town today to commiserate with our people and stand in solidarity with them during this trying period.

I commended the bravery and resilience of the Policemen, the Commissioner of Police, our local security personnel, vigilante groups, and other courageous individuals who have continued to safeguard lives and property. I also saluted the indomitable spirit of the residents who, despite the challenges, have chosen to remain in the community and keep Oke-Ode alive.
