Bauchi state APC on Friday announced that it has overruled the decision taken by the leaders of the party in Makama Sarkin Baki Ward to suspend the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar from the party.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the party disclosed this in a statement signed by its publicity secretary, Adamu Aliyu Jalah on Friday while declaring the decision taken by the Ward leaders as null and void.
‘The purported decision as contained in the letter of suspension dated 14 December 2022 is hereby reversed and set aside by the State Working Committee of the APC for lack of fair hearing and gross violation of disciplinary procedures under Article 21 of the APC Constitution 2022.
Take note that Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar (SAN) is still an active and a valid member of the APC and shall continue to partake in all lawful activities of the party at all levels, until further notice’ the statement submitted.
It will be recalled that Abubakar was suspended by the Makama Sarkin Baki APC Ward officials for declaring support for the second term bid of Governor Bala Mohammed during the dinner organized by the state government in his honour to celebrate his attainment of the rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Bala is a member of the PDP- Team@orientactualmags.com
