Mr. Bello Abdulwaheed Onikanhun has been appointed as Acting Registrar of Ahman Pategi University.
A private university that was approved in 2021, Ahman Pategi University, is located in Patigi , Patigi local government, Kwara State.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the Pro -Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution, Ambassador Nimota Nihinlola Akanbi announced Onikaun’s appointment on behalf of the Governing Council.
‘The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was conveyed in an official letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kazeem Alagbe Gbolagade, following the regularization of staff appointments and the recommendations of the Appointments, Promotions and Disciplinary Committee of the University to the Governing Council.
Until his appointment, Mr. Onikanhun served as the Registry Coordinator, where he efficiently discharged the responsibilities of the Registrar’s office. His wealth of experience in university administration, policy implementation, and institutional development positions him well for this strategic role.
As the Acting Registrar, Mr. Onikanhun is expected to provide dynamic leadership, ensure seamless administrative operations, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. He will also work closely with the Vice-Chancellor in executing key institutional policies in alignment with the university’s founding vision’ the statement noted.

The statement added that the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Ambassador Nimota Nihinlola Akanbi, expressed confidence in Mr. Onikanhun’s ability to strengthen the administrative framework of the university, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with global best practices.
