Betty Akeredolu Posts Picture Taken During Visit To Husband In Hospital, Wishes Him Happy 67th Birthday
Ondo state First Lady, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has wished her husband ,Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, a happy birthday.
Mrs. Betty Akeredolu not only posted picture that was obviously taken with the governor in the hospital but also added that ‘Aketi dey kampe! . Victory for us!’.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Governor Akeredolu in separate social media post also congratulated himself on his 67th birthday anniversary , he posted his picture and added a message ‘Which of the favours of the Lord can I deny? Chapter 67 To God be the Laud, Honour and Glory!!!’.
Mrs. Betty Akeredolu , who is three years older than her husband, had also turned 70 on Thursday.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a one-time president of the Nigerian Bar Association, who became the Chief Executive of the Sunshine State on February 24, 2017, had been ill for some months now.
The governor, who is said to be in Germany, has been on medical vacation since June 7, 2023, and the Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, had since functioned as acting governor.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu a few days ago, asked the parliament to extend his medical leave citing ‘medical advice’ .
Akeredolu, in a letter sent to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Olamide Oladiji, noted that the Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will ‘continue to act as governor until there is a written declaration to the contrary’.
