Buhari Didn’t Own A House In UK, Friends Took Charge Of His Medical Bills, Expenses Before And After Leaving Office-Femi Adesina

Former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, did not own a house in London and he had been visiting the United Kingdom for ‘medical treatment’ before 2015, hence his decision to continue with this after becoming the nation’s president 11 years ago, and after leaving office in 2023, Mr Femi Adesina, who served as the retired General’s media aide during his presidency, has submitted.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Femi Adesina said this in an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday, submitting that Buhari had no property in the United Kingdom while adding that in most instances, he stayed at the Nigerian High Commission during his medical trips.

‘There was a time he was at the High Commission for many months when he went on that eight-month medical vacation.

For about three-quarters of that period, he was at the High Commissioner’s apartment. The High Commissioner even moved to a smaller place so the President could stay in his official residence.

Before he became the president, he had always done his medicals in London, the same set of doctors. Those who knew his medical history continued with him instead of starting afresh’ he said.

Providing information on how the former president had managed to pay his medical bills, his children’s tuition fees and other expenses, Adesina disclosed that he largely depended on the goodwill of wealthy friends.

‘I doubt if he paid for those bills himself. President Buhari just needed to call anybody — the Dangotes, the Abdusalamis — and they would oblige. This last trip he made, I know the private jet of the person he went in.

When I asked him about the noise online over the schools his children attended, he told me, ‘I do not know. It’s my friends that pay it.’ He even said I should go and see Modi, his wise brother, who had the details’ Mr Adesina added while describing his late boss as ‘a man of goodwill’ who enjoyed unwavering support from his associates-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
