Cars With Tinted Windows No Longer Allowed In Delta- CP Wale Abass

As part of the measures taken to ensure security of lives and property in Delta state, the state police commissioner, Mr. Wale Abass, has announced that cars with tinted windows and vehicles without number plates are no longer allowed in the state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that this was disclosed in a statement issued in Asaba on Tuesday by the spokesman for the state police command, Edafe Bright.
He noted that this was done to tackle kidnapping and other criminal activities in the state.
The statement urged members of the public to bear with the Police as this might be uncomfortable for residents and road users while noting that all vehicles must be registered and must have number plates that are visible. He reiterated that any vehicle found with contrary features will be impounded.
‘The Commissioner of Police urges all area commanders, Divisional Police Heads, and Tactical Commanders to double their efforts in the fight against criminals in the state.
He equally appeals to members of the public to understand and bear with the Command as the measures being taken, which is in their interest, might bring slight discomfort to the residents, particularly the motoring public.
Due to the activities of criminal elements who carry out their nefarious activities using vehicles with tinted windows and sometimes covered number plates, it is on this note that the CP warns that all vehicles that ply roads in the state must be duly registered with their number plates visible as all unregistered vehicles and vehicles with covered number plates will be impounded’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com
