Chief Imam Of Minna, Sheikh Isah Fari, Dies At 93
The Chief Imam of Minna, Niger State capital, Sheikh Isah Fari , is dead.
He died on Saturday at the ripe old age of 93.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Fari, who served as the Chief Imam of Minna for over two decades, died at the IBB specialist hospital, Minna, on Saturday night.
The state governor, Mr. Mohammed Bago, who expressed grief over the loss, has described the Imam’s death as a huge loss to the entire Muslim community.
The governor in a statement by his spokesman, Bologi Ibrahim, said the late Imam was a humble gentleman and a peace ambassador who preached love.
‘The death of Sheikh Fari is a sad loss to the state and the entire Muslim community.
The late Chief Imam was a humble and peace ambassador who had always preached love and togetherness to the people. He lived a selfless and fulfilled life where he gave his all for the propagation of Islam. His usual pieces of advice and wise counsel will be greatly missed’ he stated.
