
The committee set up by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to handle the cash assistance programme for indigenes of Kwara state, who are students at tertiary institutions, has announced receipt of 30,775 applications.
Chairman of the committee, Professor Shehu Raheem Adaramaja who disclosed this in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday, also announced the closure of ‘applicant portal’.

‘The technical sub-committee of the Kwara state Government Committee is expected to start verification exercise to sort, analyze, and authenticate the data submitted by the applicants online.
Successful applicants will have their bank accounts credited as soon as the committee completes its verification exercise.
Cash assistance for students is one of the numerous initiatives of the Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration to mitigate the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government.
Kwara state Government has extended similar initiatives to civil servants, traders, and artisans.
