Communications Commissioner Urges Journalists To See Themselves As Stakeholders In ‘Kwara Project’ During Visit To Correspondents’ Chapel Secretariat In Ilorin
Kwara state Commissioner for Communications, Hon Bolanle Olukoju , has urged journalists in the State of Harmony to see themselves as stakeholders in the ‘Kwara state project’ noting that getting the desired Kwara state achieved would be advantageous to all.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Communications commissioner said this during her visit to the secretariat of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kwara state council ,in Ilorin on Tuesday.
Olukoju, who was sworn in as Communications commissioner a few weeks ago, submitted that Kwara state under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s leadership has excelled in all aspects when it comes to deliverables while noting that this would not have been possible if the media had not effectively reported government activities.
She added that efforts are being made to ensure that Kwara state has a secure future and therefore urged journalists in the state to see themselves as stakeholders in the Kwara state project.
The Communications Commissioner also emphasized the need to promote peaceful coexistence noting that this will make the state attractive to investors.
‘When we have investments, the economy improves, and we are all happy’ she submitted.
Olukoju also said she was glad to note that almost all the major newspapers, magazines and television stations in the country have representatives in the state while thanking members of the correspondents’ chapel for their support and acknowledging the contributions they have made to the success of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration – Team@orientactualmags.com
