CP Adekimi Ojo Presides Over Rank Pinning Ceremony Held For Newly Promoted Cops In Kwara

Head of the Kwara State police command,  Mr Adekimi Ojo, a Commissioner of Police, on Friday presided over the rank pinning ceremony held for senior police officers in the state command who were recently promoted to new ranks..

Spokesperson for the state police command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, a Superintendent of Police, in a statement she issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  noted that the police chief also during the event briefed Deputy Commissioners of Police, Area commanders, DPOs and tactical Commanders on the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun PhD.

The CP restated the need for professionalism and respect for human rights in the course of discharging duties while also urging the newly promoted officers to redouble their efforts in line with the visions of the Inspector General of Police.

‎’The Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo Psc Mnips, has congratulated the newly promoted officers, especially CP Abdulraheem Nurudeen psc, who heads the Department of Finance and Administration, Kwara Police Command.

 CP Adekimi Ojo psc mnips cheerfully called the new CP a comrade, a course mate and a reliable colleague.

‎The newly promoted cops include the DPO ‘D’ Division, Adewole, CSP Yusuf AbdulRaheem, promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and the Admin. Officer 15 PMF Ilorin, SP Tungbe Pius Peter, promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP); among others.

‎The CP commended members of the state police Command for their efforts, citing the decline in criminal activities in various flashpoints within the state while urging them to ensure respect for fundamental human rights.

He warned that unlawful acts of harassment and breach of privacy especially, indiscriminate checking of people’s phones would not be tolerated while urging the officers to brace up for the festive season and ensure a water-tight security architecture in their respective AORs.
