CPC: NACLFON Urges US President To Revisit Decision, Says Strategic Diplomatic Engagement ‘Necessary’
The National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) has urged the Government of the United States of America to revisit its decision in respect of the inclusion of Nigeria in the list of ‘Countries of Particular Concern’ while noting that sustained diplomatic engagement, anchored on strategic dialogue, and shared global values, remains the most pragmatic pathway to fortifying bilateral relations between the two nations.
NACLFON in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Olalere Fagbola extolled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s statesmanship, describing him as a quintessential bridge-builder and a genuine apostle of inclusive governance.

‘Although a devout Muslim, the president has consistently demonstrated an uncommon affection for the Christian community and an unwavering commitment to peace, equity, and interfaith collaboration—attributes that underscore his vision for a harmonious and progressive Nigeria’ the statement said.
Reaffirming the long-standing cordiality between Nigeria and the United States, the forum noted that the nations are united by historical bonds of cooperation, democratic ideals, and shared aspirations for regional peace and global stability and therefore urged the strengthening of bilateral consultation frameworks that will advance mutual understanding, security synergy, and sustainable development initiatives.
The organization further noted that Nigeria–U.S. relations have yielded laudable outcomes across key sectors including defense, counterterrorism, energy, and agriculture while expressing the need for the consolidation of these gains through enhanced cooperation in intelligence exchange, humanitarian intervention, and inclusive socio-economic growth.
NACLFON also emphasized the importance of people-to-people diplomacy as the new frontier of international engagement urging the mobilization of Nigeria’s vast diaspora intellect and ingenuity to drive innovation in climate resilience, public health, and digital economy.
‘Such a multidimensional cooperation will deepen trust, stimulate prosperity, and reinforce the strategic alliance between the two nations.
We express optimism that through continued diplomatic dialogue, transparent engagement, and a shared pursuit of peace and justice, Nigeria and the United States will continue to exemplify a model partnership—one that contributes to continental stability and the advancement of global prosperity’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
