Crownhill University VC Turbanned As Agbasaga Adini In Ilorin
In recognition of his invaluable contribution to the growth and development of cultural heritage in the country, the Vice Chancellor of the Crown Hill University (CHU), Prof. Jeleel Olasunkanmi Ojuade, has been turbaned as ‘Agba’asa ga Adeen’ by the Habaabul-Huda Al-Kabariyah As-Solaliyah Al- Qoddiriyah Group of Sufism in collaboration with the Markaz Sheikh Alfa-Ogo Arabic and Islamic Training Centre, Ilorin.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the event that was held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at No 27 Alfa-Ogo Compound, Popogiwa, Ilorin, Kwara State capital , also featured Mawlid N-Nabiyy Celebration, and Presentation of awards to prominent Nigerians.
While giving his speech, Kaleefah Alfa Ogo, Sheikh Abdulrasheed AbdulHakeem described Prof Ojuade as an outstanding academic and an astute administrator, who has used his wealth of experience to promote cultural heritage in the country and beyond.
Sheikh Abdulhakeem added that Prof Ojuade was honoued with the title to appreciate his notable achievements in the society adding that his recent appointment as Vice Chancellor of the Crown Hill University was in recognition of his contribution to development of society.
