Divorced Woman Sets Fire To Policewoman Who Accommodated Her In Anambra

A divorcee, Nnaemaka Nwosu , has set fire to a policewoman and her two children in Anambra state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident occurred on Sunday in Nnokwa community , Idemili South Local Government , Anambra state.
The suspect, who hails from Amawbia, was said to have been divorced by her former husband and had become homeless before the deceased policewoman came to her rescue and accommodated her in her apartment.
Nnaemaka had during a heated argument with the cop hit her with a pestle and she fell on the ground and became unconscious.
‘After that, the suspect tied the policewoman and her children up with ropes, right inside their room, and set the building ablaze; and they (the policewoman and her children) all got burnt.
The suspect was first apprehended by the local vigilantes and some of the villagers who had noticed the smoke from the fire, and who eventually captured her as she was trying to escape from the vicinity’ said a source
The suspect, who initially claimed that it was a gas cylinder that exploded when the woman and her children were boiling hot water, later confessed to committing the crime and explained how she did it
Spokesman for the police in the state, Tochukwu Ikenga, a Deputy Superintendent of Police , who has confirmed the incident, added that the suspect has been arrested while the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka for further investigations.
The corpses of the policewoman and her children have according to him been deposited at the mortuary.
‘Preliminary information revealed that the policewoman accommodated the suspect while she was searching for a shelter. . The two women had a disagreement which resulted in a fight before the suspect hit the policewoman with a pestle.
While she became unconscious, she tied her up with her two kids and set fire to the building. The bodies of the victims have been recovered and deposited in the morgue. Further development shall be communicated’ Ikenga added-Team@orientactualmags.com
