Easter: CP Adekimi Ojo Congratulates Kwara Residents, Assures Them Of Safety
Ahead of the Easter celebration, head of Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Mr. Adekimi Ojo, a Commissioner of Police, has sent a message of congratulations to all Christian faithful in the state urging them to mark the season with reflection, peace, and gratitude for the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In a statement she issued in Ilorin on Thursday and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com, spokesperson for the state police command, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, a Superintendent of Police, noted that the police chief has also assured residents of the state of their safety.
‘To ensure a secure environment during the upcoming Easter celebration, CP Adekimi Ojo has, once again, demonstrated the Command’s commitment to public safety through the strategic deployment of intelligence and operational assets. He has also directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Unit Heads to intensify visibility policing, enhance patrol operations, and sustain surveillance across all flashpoints and public gathering areas.
The Commissioner of Police, has also emphasized the importance of intelligence-led policing, instructing supervisory officers to prioritize credible intelligence gathering and crime-prevention measures. He reiterated that lapses in security coverage will attract command-level accountability, underscoring the need for proactive and responsive policing.
