Chief Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, a veteran musician, will turn 83 on April 3, 2025.
While disclosing plans to mark his 83rd birthday with a thanksgiving service, the popular juju musician has also talked about how he feels turning 83 and how he has had a successful music career for 68 years.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that General Manager, Obey Music Group, Tunji Odunmbaku, who in a statement he issued in Lagos on Saturday announced the veteran musician’s decision to mark his 83rd birthday with a thanksgiving service, noted that this will be held at Decross Gospel Mission, Headquarters of Praise, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.
‘I have been a successful musician and one of the leading artists for 68 years, taking my music to the four corners of the world. Despite facing health challenges and undergoing multiple surgical operations, God has granted me victory over them all.
I thank God for remaining relevant in my music career while serving Him. Honestly, I have experienced it all, and I cannot thank God enough for the special and unique grace in my life and career. I truly feel fulfilled.
