Eid al-Adha: Senator Saliu Mustapha To Distribute 1,000 Food Parcels To Widows, Vulnerable Families In Kwara Central
Senator Saliu Mustapha , who represents Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly ,has announced plans to distribute food parcels to 1,000 widows and vulnerable families in the senatorial district ahead of the 1445 AH Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
This gesture of goodwill, which is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable members of society, underscores Senator Mustapha’s commitment to inclusive representation and community welfare, his media aide, Mr Nasif Sholagberu, submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday.
Senator Mustapha, who is the Turaki of Ilorin, emphasized the importance of assisting widows in the four local governments in the Kwara Central District adding that the food parcels are designed to ensure that the beneficiaries joyously celebrate the Eid -li Kabir.
Recall that the Senator, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, had recently distributed 3,500 fertilizers and other agricultural equipment to genuine farmers in the state as part of efforts to improve food production and stem the astronomical food inflation in the country.
