Eid-el-Fitr: Rekindle Hope For Prosperous Future, Gov Idris Tells Kebbians, Other Nigerians

Kebbi State governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has urged the people of the state and the entire nation to imbibe the spirit of peace, security, togetherness and societal development.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that the Kauran Gwandu said this in his Eid-el-Fitr message on Saturday night.

The governor emphasized the importance of upholding the values of Ramadan which entails perseverance, piety and closeness to God.

‘Our citizens should intensify prayers for solution to the challenges facing the nation which are surmountable, and rekindle hope for a peaceful and prosperous entity’ the governor, who is the Gwarzon Daular Usmaniyya, added.

Governor Idris also restated his commitment to achieving the development goals of his administration, soliciting for continued support from the people of the state.

‘My administration will uphold its legacy of free distribution of grains and other food items to the people including free fertilizers and agricultural inputs to improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of all communities’ he said..

The governor advised that while leadership at all levels continue to search for credible solution to challenges facing the nation, it has become incumbent on all and sundry to continue to ask Almighty Allah to give our leaders the wisdom and the capacity to evolve credible measures for national survival.
