Eid-el-fitri: President Tinubu, Gov Abdulrazaq, Gov Idris, Saraki, Senator Saliu Mustapha, Razak Atunwa Congratulate Muslims
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr while urging them to uphold the values of piety, compassion and unity beyond the fasting period.
The president in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga urged Nigerian Muslims to renew their commitment to the nation and humanity as they celebrate eid-el-fitri.

‘We have a lot to draw from the noble lessons of Ramadan, especially at a time like this. We must continue to abide by the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness and compassion beyond this period’ he said.
President Bola Tinubu also urged Muslims to demonstrate unity and camaraderie by extending acts of kindness to the less privileged, regardless of religious background.
Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu has also extended his warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the people of Kebbi State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while restating his administration’s unwavering commitment to the development of the state and the welfare of its people.

The governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that he said this at his residence shortly after returning from the Eid praying ground.
Governor Idris expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting Muslims the opportunity to successfully complete the fasting period and celebrate Eid-el-Fitr in peace.
‘I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. First of all, we thank Allah (SWT) for bringing us to this day. This is a blessed day in a blessed month. We completed the fasting period successfully, and today we have celebrated Eid in peace.
We extend our appreciation to the people of Kebbi State for the immense support they have given us. All the achievements we have recorded would not have been possible without their support. Therefore, we are truly grateful, and we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts all the prayers offered during this holy month.
We also convey our best wishes to our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We pray for his good health and long life as he continues to lead the country towards greater progress.
In our state, many individuals are working tirelessly for its development. This is not about politics; it is about bringing meaningful dividends of democracy to our people’ he said.
Governor Idris also noted that his administration remains focused on sustaining its developmental strides.
‘For now, our priority is to consolidate our achievements and fulfill our promises before the next political season begins. By the grace of God, we will accomplish these goals’ he said.
He also thanked the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his efforts to ensure the growth and development of Kebbi State.
‘I want to state clearly that anyone from Kebbi who occupies a high position—whether as a Senator, Minister, or Member of the House of Representatives—represents the collective interest of our state. I have always emphasized that those who go to Abuja should bring back meaningful benefits to our state.
There is nothing more important than serving the interest of our people. Their loyalty and support make it imperative for us to ensure they enjoy the dividends of development. We appreciate the Minister for his dedication to ensuring that our people benefit from government programmes’ he added.
The governor further emphasized that government alone cannot achieve do everything , saying that democracy provides for representation through members of the State Assembly, National Assembly, Senators, and Ministers, all of who must work collectively to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
The governor of Kwara State, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has also wished the people of the State of Harmony happy eid-el-fitri.

‘My family and I wish the people of Kwara State, especially the Muslim community, a blessed Eid-el-fitri, which marks the end of Ramadan fasting.
I pray that Allaah will accept our worship and our supplication whilst the month lasted, and give us the grace to remain faithful and submissive to Him, adherent to the best of manners that the month taught, and observant of His commandments at all times.
Eid Mubaarak, brethren!’ Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who is the Sardauna of Ilorin, submitted.
Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has also congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the successful completion of the fasting period while urging citizens to remain hopeful and united despite the prevailing challenges.
Dr Saraki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir that he spent the final days of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia performing the Umrah, where he offered prayers for peace, unity, and progress in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting the faithful the strength to observe Ramadan fasting and engage in acts of worship while acknowledging the current economic and social difficulties facing many Nigerians.
He however emphasized the need for resilience and collective optimism.
Dr. Saraki, who is the Waziri of Ilorin, said the bond of unity among Nigerians remains stronger than the forces of division while expressing confidence that the country will witness better days ahead.
He urged citizens to remember and pray for members of the armed forces and other security personnel who are serving the nation under challenging and often dangerous conditions, away from their families.
He prayed for their safety and for success in ongoing efforts to secure the country.
Former Speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, who also represented Asa/Ilorin West federal constituency in the House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019, Rt Hon Razak Atunwa has congratulated Muslims across the country on the successful completion of the fasting period.

While wishing the Muslim ummah eid mubarak, he also noted that the festive period is a time for sober reflection on the virtues of forgiveness, kindness and good neighborliness.
‘We should use the celebration for sober reflection and extend kind gestures and hands of support to the needy in society as well as pray for divine intervention in respect of the current security and economic situation in the country’ he said.
Senator Saliu Mustapha,who represents Kwara Central in the senate, has also extended his warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful across Nigeria, particularly those in Kwara Central, on the joyous occasion of eid-el-fitri while urging them to sustain the spiritual lessons and values imbibed during the holy month of Ramadan.

The federal lawmaker in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media aide, Mr Nafiu Sholagberu described Eid as a time for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the virtues of devotion, compassion, and self-discipline cultivated during the month of Ramadan.
He urged Muslims to continue to uphold these values in their daily lives for the betterment of society.
Senator Mustapha, who is the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, also extended special felicitations to the governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, as well as the Kwara State Council of Ulamah, on the successful completion of the fasting period.
The Senator prayed that Almighty Allah will accept all acts of worship during the holy month as Ibadah and reward the faithful abundantly.
