Eid-li-Adha 1445 AH: Veteran Politician Shuaib Oyedokun Hosts Osun APC Bigwigs, Supporters, Others At Inisha Residence

The Bola Ige Street residence of Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun in Inisha, Osun state, was a hive of activity on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, as political  associates,  Osun state APC  bigwigs , women, young people and others gathered there to celebrate eid-li-adha 1445AH  with the veteran politician.

Chief  Shuaib Oyedokun at different times served as old Oyo state NPN secretary,  Secretary to the old Oyo state Government under  Dr Omololu Olunloyo , PDP Deputy  National  Chairman (South)   during  the Olusegun Obasanjo administration and Chairman of  Michael Imodu National Institute for Labour Studies, (MINILS), Ilorin, during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the PDP before leaving the party for APC last month.

He had for years now hosted the sallah get-together at his residence every year, but this was the first time he would be doing that as a member of APC.

As expected, APC members in the state and party leaders were at Alhaji Oyedokun’s residence to celebrate this year’s  eid-li-adha with him and he had a busy day addressing different groups.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun also showed conspicuous attachment to his new party as he served his guests with ‘bottled water’ emblazoned with APC logo.

Giving his speech, the state APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal thanked God for sparing the life of the veteran politician while praying that he would witness and celebrate more eid-li-adha on the planet earth.

He also prayed that God will not let Alhaji Oyedokun and other PDP defectors regret joining the APC, but that they would rather ask why they had not joined prior to the time they did. .

Sooko Lawal , who was accompanied by Chief Amitolu Shittu, APC state Woman Leader, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokumi and other members of the State Working Committee, also urged members of the party in the state to shun promotion of disunity while submitting that Osun will become an APC-controlled state in 2026 without dissensions among the party members

Chairman of one of the groups that had their members among attendees of the event, Hon Owoyemi Razaq,   said they were at the veteran politician’s residence to celebrate eid-li-adha with him because they were excited to receive the news of his defection to  APC.
