Eid-li-Fitri: CP Victor Olaiya Congratulates Kwara Residents, Assures Them Of Safety

Kwara state police chief, Mr Victor Olaiya, a Commissioner of Police , has  extended  his greetings and felicitations to all Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 1445AH/2024 Eid el-Fitr celebration.

He noted that the Eid el-Fitr festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan while describing it as a time for spiritual reflection, gratitude, and celebration for the Muslim ummah.

Spokesperson for the state police command, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, in a statement made available to  Team@orientactualmags.com said the CP also noted that the Eid el-Fitr festival is also a period that signifies the values of forgiveness, sacrifice, compassion, and unity.

‘As a measure to ensure the safety and security of everyone during this festive period, officers and men of Kwara state Police Command have been deployed around the state to ensure the safety of the citizens.

Tactical teams are working assiduously to prevent crimes of all kinds,  and ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all residents.

He  also urged members of the public to report suspicious activities or incidents to the nearest police station or through the Command’s Control number: 07032069501 or 08125275046.

The Commissioner of Police reaffirms his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents during and after this festive period. As always, we urge everyone to continue to promote peace, understanding, and tolerance within our diverse communities.
