Electoral Act: AGLA Members Stage Solidarity March For INEC In Abuja
Members of the Arewa Grassroots Leaders Assembly (AGLA) staged a solidarity march for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja on Friday while warning other Nigerians against distracting the electoral body ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the AGLA members, who were joined by other residents of Abuja, marched from the National Assembly complex to the INEC headquarters chanting solidarity songs and carrying placards with inscriptions that include ‘Chairman, Stay the course’, ‘We support free, fair and peaceful elections’ and ‘Defend democracy’.

This has come barely 24 hours after the nation’s opposition leaders, who are mainly ADC and NNPP bigwigs, assessed the Electoral Act 2022 (Repeal and Re-enactment) Amendment Bill, 2026 that was recently signed into law and demanded a fresh amendment process-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
