Electricity: Ondo, Ekiti Residents To Experience 9-Hour Power Outage Daily For 2 Months

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned power outage in Ekiti and Ondo states as a result of plans to carry out critical maintenance work on the 132kV Akure- Osogbo transmission line.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that this was contained in a public notice issued on Sunday in which it was noted that the two states in question will experience power outages that will last nine hours daily, starting from Monday, July 1 to August 31.
‘Please, be informed that the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, is scheduled to carry out critical maintenance work on the 132kV Akure- Osogbo transmission line. The planned work involves the installation of Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) and other activities. This will require outage on the affected network for a safe working space.
Customers in the affected areas will experience service interruptions during the period of the planned outages.
