The Elemona of Ilemona, Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi, has joined his ancestors.
He reportedly departed this life on Saturday.
One of his sons is Colonel Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf, who is the aide-de-camp to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hon Yusuf Musa, who represents Odo Ogun state constituency in the Kwara state House of Assembly, is also the Colonel’s sibling.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has sent his condolences and commiserated with the people of Ilemona , Oyun Local Government on the passing of the nonagenarian monarch, His Royal Highness ,Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi.
The Elemona was said to have passed away at the age of 95.
‘The governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the sons and daughters of Ilemona, especially members of his immediate family such as the member of the Kwara state House of Assembly representing Odo-Ogun State Constituency Honourable Toye Yusuf and the aide-de-camp (ADC) to the President, Col. Nurudeen Yusuf.
