Ena Maud Alabi, Kwara Deputy Gov’s Mother , Dies At 98…Gov AbdulRazaq, Ex-Gov Ahmed, Nurudeen Adeyemi Offer Condolences

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state led tributes to Mama Ena Maud Alabi (née Aljoe) , the mother of his deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi on Friday.
A Jamaican by birth and Nigerian by citizenship and marriage, the matriarch of the Alabi family, Mama Ena Maud Alabi died in the early hours of Friday, April 5, 2024, at the age of 98.
She retired as a senior matron at Maternity (Amilegbe) Ilorin in 1980, ending decades of impactful professional service to God and humanity as a health worker and caregiver.
The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye said Mama Ena was a humanist par excellence who served God and her community with her talents and rich network.
‘On behalf of the AbdulRazaqs, the government and people of Kwara state, the governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Governor and his siblings on this huge loss of a faithful mother.
He asks God to repose her soul and help the family to stay strong and united through the mourning period and after’ the statement added.
Chief (Engineer) Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, an aerospace engineer , who is based in the United States of America, has also described Mama Ena Maud Alabi as God’s uncommon grace and gift to humanity.
In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday, Engineer Adeyemi offered his condolences to the Deputy Governor , Mr. Kayode Alabi and mourned the glorious transition of his mother, Mama Ena Maud Alabi (née Aljoe), to the great beyond.
‘Regardless, it will be painful to lose a pillar in one’s life. Mama Alabi had a life well spent and blessed with old age. Mama lived a life of care and love as a retired Matron. To her children and grandchildren, Mama was a demonstration of God’s uncommon grace to humanity as she devoted her life to serving and aiding humanity within her reach.
I, on behalf of the ENACT family home and abroad, wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, my brother, the Deputy Governor, H.E. Kayode Alabi, members of the state Executive Council, and members of the Alabi family.
May God Almighty grant Mama eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord Christ. May God provide those she has left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss’ he said.
Immediate past governor Kwara state, Alhaji Abdufatah Ahmed has also sent his heartfelt condolences to the deputy governor , Mr. Kayode Alabi over the death of his mother, Mama Ena Maud Alabi (née Aljoe).
Alhaji Ahmed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media aide, Alhaji Wahab Oba said the qualities and the achievements of the children the deceased nonagenarian has left behind showed that she was a caring mother and a mother figure to younger generations in terms of care and love.
