ENACT Makes Facilities Available For Kwara Govt’s Coding And Digital Literacy Holiday Programme…Promises ‘Necessary Support’

As the Kwara State Government takes a bold step forward and remains committed to getting the young people in the state prepared for a technology-driven world by extending its School Coding and Digital Literacy Programme into the second term holiday period, ENACT INNOVATION HUB, AJASE-IPO, has partnered with the state government and also provided ‘necessary support’.

‘The ‘Holiday Edition’ is underway in selected secondary schools across the state, continuing the momentum of a transformative initiative that was launched earlier in February 2024.

In support of the 50 public schools’ targets, ENACT INNOVATION HUB, AJASE-IPO is making the use of its facilities available to support about 500 students from area schools in the programme designed to equip students with essential digital skills, preparing them to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven world.

Focusing on innovation and empowerment, the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme– Holiday Edition is shaping the next generation of creators, problem-solvers, and tech leaders.

The future is digital—and it starts now’ a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday, said.

The statement added that the programme which is expected to be attended by students and teenagers between the ages of 12 and 15, aims at building on the successes of the 2024/2025 second academic term rollout.

‘It offers a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that sparks curiosity and fosters creativity through coding, digital literacy, innovation thinking, and problem-solving—all in a fun and engaging environment.

This impactful initiative is proudly championed by the Kwara State Government under His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s visionary leadership. The programme reflects the governor’s unwavering commitment to investing in technology and innovation as tools for youth empowerment and socio-economic development.

Targeting 7,500 students across all 16 Local Governments in the state, the Holiday Edition introduces young learners to the exciting world of tech. Participants will explore how technology shapes their daily lives, gain practical experience with digital tools, and develop basic projects from scratch—ranging from websites and simple programmes to digital art and storytelling.

Led by experienced instructors and mentors, the programme ensures that every student—regardless of background or prior experience—feels welcome, empowered, and inspired to explore the possibilities of the digital age.

Through initiatives like this, Kwara State is positioning itself as a forward-thinking hub of innovation, where young minds are nurtured to become active contributors to the digital economy of tomorrow’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
