Ex-Gov Ahmed Pays Condolence Visit To Kisira Family In Ilorin…Receives ‘Warm Hug’ From Kwara Deputy Gov

Former governor of Kwara state, Alhaji  Abdulfatah Ahmed, has described late Elder Peter Kisira as an exemplary civil servant who dedicated his life and time to diligent service to God and man. 

He also submitted that the late Elder Peter Kisira was a stickler for due process, prompt, loyal, resourceful, and always time conscious adding that ‘he was a stabilizing factor in our government’.

Recall that Elder Peter Kisira, a retired Permanent Secretary, who served as deputy governor under Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed from 2011 to 2019, died in Ilorin  a few days ago.

Alhaji Ahmed , who paid a condolence visit to the Ilorin residence of the former deputy governor , advised his wife, Mrs Felicia Kisira, to remain faithful and take solace in the fact that her late husband  lived a meaningful life. 

‘You must be strong for the children, as you now effectively remain the last person standing for them’ the former governor said. 

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Monday  by Alhaji Ahmed’s media aide, Alhaji Wahab Oba  noted that  the former governor has also visited the state deputy governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi  and condoled with him over the death of his mother, Mama Ena Maud Alabi (née Aljoe).

The statement added that he commended the deputy governor for being a worthy son of Mama Ena Maud and a good ambassador of the Alabi family. 

He prayed that God would repose the soul of  Mama Ena Mauthe and continue to guide the Alabi family. 

Responding,  the deputy governor, Mr Kayode Alabi appreciated the former governor for finding time to commiserate with the family.
