Ex-rep Gbenga Makanjuola Inaugurates Borehole In Igbaja , Urges Kwarans To Vote For PDP
Ahead of the 2023 General Election, residents and citizens of Kwara state have been advised to vote for the party that has what it takes to get things done and change things for the better in the state.
A former member of the House of Representatives, who is currently the Kwara state PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Hon Gbenga Makanjuola said this in Igbaja, Ifelodun local government on Friday after inaugurating the borehole constructed by Hon Moshood Bakare.
Bakare , a former member of the Kwara state House of Assembly , is an indigene of Igbaja.
Hon Gbenga asserted that only PDP can address the problems facing the country and also change the face of Kwara state.
Makanjuola, who had earlier inaugurated the local chapter of the Yaman/Makanjuola Support Group in the town in continuation of efforts to mobilize people for PDP candidates ahead of the 2023 general election, commended Hon Bakare for the laudable initiative.
‘ It is disheartening to note that, seven (7) aides of the current state Governor are from Igbaja, and none has deemed it fit to support or facilitate project of such nature to the community, as the saying goes ‘charity begins at home’.
I urge the people to retrace their steps and vote wisely in 2023’ he said.
Also speaking, Hon Moshood Bakare said he decided to come up with the idea of constructing the borehole because he chose to be altruistic and felt it important to take care of the needs of his kinsmen.
