Eze Ndigbo Of Ibadan, Alex Anozie, Dies In His Sleep In Ibadan

The Eze Ndigbo of Ibadanland and President of Non-Indigenes Traditional Council of Ibadan, Alex Anozie, has  left family members, associates and the Igbo people in dismay and shock with his sudden death in his sleep in Ibadan,  Oyo state capital.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alex , who died at 74, is an indigene of Igboukwu,  Aguata Local Government, Anambra state.

He died in his sleep at his Ososami residence, Ibadan.

‘The deceased chief  lived his life in Ibadan and contributed immensely to the economic growth of the ancient town. He died on Tuesday in his sleep at his Ososami residence in Ibadan, the state capital.

His remains have been taken to his country home, Igboukwu , Aguata Local Government ,  Anambra state for final burial’  one of his family friends said.

Alex Anozie was until his death on Tuesday the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CONAC Optical Company, Ibadan.

 His wife, Betsy Anozie, died at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan after a short illness in April last year-Team@orientactualmags.com
