Family Confirms Death Of Missing Uniabuja Student In Road Crash
Murjanatu Zubairu, a 400-level female student at the University of Abuja, who was declared missing on Friday, had actually died in a road crash along the Lugbe – Airport Road, Abuja.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that her uncle, Zubairu Yewuti, a one-time Vice Chairman of Kwali Area Council , FCT, who has confirmed her death in the road crash said, ‘The family of Murja called me in the afternoon and they confirmed that she died in an accident that occurred along the Lugbe – Airport Road last Friday.
They visited the mortuary at the University of Abuja, Teaching Hospital where her corpse was found’.
Zubairu, a student at the Department of Arts Education , Faculty of Education, University of Abuja had left home for school on Friday but her whereabouts had however remained unknown until Monday.
The road accident, which occurred on Friday at 8:34 p.m. was said to have involved a Toyota Sharon bus near the Dunamis Church along the Airport Road.
The bus, which was at a high speed, suddenly went up in flames, killing four persons including a female on the spot.
‘Before our rescue team arrived at the scene, six people among the 10 in the bus that sustained burns were rescued by the Airforce personnel who were treated in their hospital.
