FCT Senate Seat: Constituents Show Senator Philip Aduda The Red Card 14 Years After Becoming Senator

Senator Philip Aduda of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had been a member of the senate since 2011, has lost his parliament seat.

Ireti Heeba Kingibe of the Labor Party will be taking over the FCT senate seat in June this year having gotten declared as winner of the FCT Senate election that was held on Saturday.

Declaring the election results at the collation center in GSS Garki, Abuja, the Returning Officer for the election, Professor Sani Saka, said Kingibe had 202,175 votes while Aduda got 100,544 votes.
