Former Gov Ibrahim Dankwambo Wins Senate Seat In Gombe

Former governor of Gombe state, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwambo, has been declared as winner of the Gombe North senate election held on Saturday , a development that has gotten Senator Sa’idu Alkali denied the opportunity to retain his parliament seat.
It will be recalled that Dankwambo had lost the opportunity to become a member of the senate in 2019 because Alkali defeated him.
‘Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of the PDP having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared and is returned elected’ Professor Gurama Abubakar, who was the returning officer, submitted while announcing Dankwambo as winner of the election on Monday morning.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Dankwambo had 143,155 votes while Alkali got 77,948 votes.
Yaya Tongo, who was the PDP candidate, has also been declared as winner of the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye reps election.
