Former Kwara Lawmakers Mourn The Death Of Al-Hassan Bagidi 

The forum of ex-members of the Kwara state House of Assembly on Thursday mourned the death of Hon Al-hassan Ibrahim Bagidi.

 The forum in a joint statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Abraham Ashaolu and secretary, Hon. Bola Mogaji, expressed sadness over the passing of Hon Al-hassan Ibrahim Bagidi,  calling him a great community leader, who dedicated his entire life to the service of humanity. 

 Hon. Bagidi was also described as a God-fearing person. 

‘While serving as member of KWHA between 2003 and 2011, he advanced the cause of parliamentary democracy in the state and distinguished himself as a true Nigerian. He also served as a member, Board of Directors, Kebbi/Sokoto River Basin Authority, and until his death, he was the Talban Kaiama and village head of Gwanagizi in Kaiama local government’  the statement added. 

The forum commiserated  with the Kaiama Emirate Council and the deceased former lawmaker’s immediate family on the passing of their patriarch and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss while praying God to admit Hon Bagidi into the best of Paradise.

Hon Bagidi died  in Ilorin in the early hours of Thursday, 27th July, 2023, after a short illness. 

The deceased politician had at different times, served as Chairman of Kaiama local government and member of the Kwara state House of Assembly.

 Hon Alhassan Yahaya Bagudu, who served as Secretary under him ,later became Chairman of  the local government and he had also earlier served as member of the state house of assembly-Team@orientactualmags.com
