Former Rep Bade Falade Warns Osun PDP Against Promoting ‘Schism’ In APC, Calls President Tinubu ‘National Treasure’

A former member of the House of Representatives, who also served as Director General of Iyiola Omisore Governorship Campaign Organization in 2018, Hon Bade Falade has described President Bola Tinubu as a ‘national treasure’ and a valuable progressive leader in Osun State whose contribution is eternally acknowledged by young and old.

He said this in reaction to the mischief allegedly being promoted by the PDP-controlled government in the state in order to draw a wedge between the state APC and the national leadership of the party. 

Hon Falade described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the compass of the progressive family in Osun State and Nigeria as a whole in who everyone is well pleased. 

The former federal lawmaker also berated Governor Ademola Adeleke for secretly attempting to foist himself on the party to avoid imminent defeat at the polls in 2026.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Hon Falade said this during the visit of members of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji Media Fronts to his Osogbo residence last week.

Oyebamiji Media Fronts is a directorate promoting the actualization of Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji’s gubernatorial ambition. 

‘My experience with the Adelekes in the PDP and some of us they drove away from the party is unpalatable. Big politicians like Senator Iyiola Omisore, Rt Hon. Adejare Bello, Chief Shuaib Oyedokun, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, Omooba Dotun Babayemi have bitter experiences to share about them. They have a penchant for gatecrashing into a political party, hijacking the structure and sending other stakeholders away’ he said.

Also responding to rumours making the rounds that Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji directed his supporters to insult President Tinubu following Governor Ademola Adeleke’s recent visit to the president’s residence in Lagos, Hon Falade, a one-time Chairman of Governing Council, Federal Medical Centre, Katsina, submitted that on no account would Oyebamiji known for his Omoluabi values and respectful mien, would prod his campaigners to bring the name of the national leader of the party to disrepute.

‘Ascribing such a denigrating statement to humility-personified like Oyebamiji is a dirty politics taken too far.  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the treasure of APC in Osun and Nigeria at large. So, who dares abuse him? Who dares denigrate him? Who dares degrade him? Who dares insult him? Who dares undermine him? This is far from commonsense. There is a saying that who doesn’t want a pregnancy aborted can never pray for such a child to die. Tinubu is our own investment. Tinubu is an investment of APC in Osun. We invested our votes in 2023 to make him become president and there is no way anyone will degrade him. If anyone should abuse Tinubu or degrade him or debase him or say anything that can tarnish his image, such a person cannot be in this party. It is the figment of imagination of the mischief makers running around with the falsehood.

So, when I heard that they claimed that Oyebamiji allegedly denigrated President Tinubu, I said that it is politics taken too far. When there is grouse, it is better to resolve it amicably rather than spewing out lies and propaganda against a revered member of the party. Oyebamiji has no reason to insult Tinubu. Oyebamiji has never abused Tinubu and he will never abuse him. We know him very well and we know he can’t do such a thing. He is indeed a man of character, integrity, dignity, humility, calmness and honesty.

It is even ridiculous to believe such a thing because there is no reason for it. Is it Oyebamiji that is an appointee of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is currently heading an agency under the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, that would denigrate his principal? This is untrue and pure lies. Bola Oyebamiji that I know, is an easy going person who is not even desperate and inordinate about his ambition to become the governor. Honestly, it is the people that are encouraging him to contest having seen profound impacts he made in previous offices held. For your information, Bola Oyebamiji remains the leading candidate ahead of the next governorship election, perhaps that is why desperate politicians are bent on destroying his name’ he added.
