Ganduje Ignores Rumblings Of Annoyance, Inaugurates Ex-Rep Meseko, 5 Others As NWC Members
APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje has sworn in new members of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC including former rep Duro Mesoko , Deputy National Publicity Secretary and Dr. Mary Alile Idele , National Woman Leader.
He had apparently ignored rumblings of annoyance in some state chapters and inaugurated Dr. Mary Alile Idele and others as NWC members.
Former Senator Florence Ita-Giwa had visited the APC national secretariat last week seeking to know why the nomination of former Cross River state Commissioner for Local Government, Dr. Stella Odey-Ekpo as National Woman Leader was rejected in favour of Dr. Mary Alile Idele from Edo state.
Governor Yahaya Bello was also there to demand an explanation and sought to know reasons why his former Special Adviser on Water Resources, Yahaya Ismail, who he had nominated as Deputy National Publicity Secretary, was not chosen.
