Gateman Who Defiled Employer’s Children Gets Life Sentence In Lagos
A young man, Happiness Sunday, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling two teenagers who are ten and eight years old respectively.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Justice Abiola Soladoye in her ruling submitted that the prosecution has sufficiently proved that Sunday, who had served as gateman at the residence of the victims was guilty as charged.
Sunday had faced defilement and sexual assault charges.
Soladoye added that the ingredients of defilement and sexual assault by penetration were established under Sections 137 and 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos state.
The convict was described as a bisexual houseboy who is desperate and wicked.
‘The defendant is a sexual terrorist who ravished children.
He is a disloyal worker, egoistic, a terrible person whose sexual perversion is unacceptable.
His actions are beastly and should be locked away for life because his conduct is utterly disgraceful’ the judge submitted while urging parents to be vigilant.
The judge added that the convict should have his name registered in the Lagos state Sexual Offences Register.
The state prosecution counsel, Mrs. Olufunke Adegoke, had during the trial called four witnesses and tendered evidence while the convict testified as sole witness.
